We would like to inform you of the scheduled upgrade for our server3 - server3.webhostnepal.com, which will take place on 15th June 2024 (Saturday), between 06:00 AM to 8:00 PM (GMT+5:45).
We will take backups at midnight and process upgrades after backup.
Reason: Updating outdated software (cPanel/WHM, CloudLinux, PHP and MySQL)
Impact During Upgrade: We need to take down the server to upgrade softwares,
Also we are upgrading RAM to 128GB.
Impact After Upgrade:
PHP: You need to upgrade your website php version to 7.4 or higher.
Outlook: You may need to reconfigure outlook.
MySQL: You may need to update your database compatible with MySQL8
Note: While we expect the update to go smoothly, we want to make you aware that some websites with older versions of these technologies may not function properly after the update and also do not update the website until future notice.
To ensure that your website continues to operate smoothly, we kindly request you to update your php code and mysql db schema to make it compatible with latest PHP Version and MySQL 8.
