We would like to inform you of the scheduled migration of our server - server1.webhostnepal.com, which will take place on 13th July 2024 (Saturday), between 00:00 AM to 8:00 PM (GMT+5:45).
Reason: Retiring old server having outdated software (cPanel/WHM, CloudLinux, PHP and MySQL)
Impact During Migration: There will be no issue during this migration. Your website will running without any downtime.
We would like to request you not to update the websites contents for the mentioned timeline to avoid any data loss. If so we will not be responsible for any of the losses caused.
Impact After Migration:
Cloudflare: If you are using Cloudflare for your site, you need to update new ip on your cloudflare DNS Zone.
PHP: You need to upgrade your website php version to 7.4 or higher.
Outlook: You may need to reconfigure outlook.
MySQL: You may need to update your database compatible with MySQL8
Note:
We are planning to migrate the hosted websites from our old server to the new sever with the latest versions of PHP and MySQL8 effective on 14th July 2024. While we expect the update to go smoothly, we want to make you aware that some websites with older versions of these technologies may not function properly after the update.
To ensure that your website continues to operate smoothly, we kindly request you to update your php code and mysql db schema to make it compatible with latest PHP Version and MySQL 8.
